Enhancing Culture Corps

The Culture Corps program supported by staff, faculty, and students in their internationalization efforts at the University of Minnesota by recruiting, training, and coaching international students on how to share their international student experiences on campus. Students received a stipend for being part of the program. In 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, almost half of our funding went into projects that later became fee funded projects in 2017-2018, faculty and instruction support, requests generated as a result of the fee, or actual fee funded projects. We are asking the committee to contribute to Culture Corps to meet the growing demand for undergraduate curriculum and classroom support and cover fee related project requests.
