CAPE Academic and Career Coach with International Focus

Specifically, this proposal provides the opportunity to create a full-time CAPE Coach position that works 60% time in CAPE and 40% time in ISSS. This allows expanded support in CAPE while remaining closely linked to the student services in ISSS. This shared model would ensure streamlined services, a close working collaboration and a bridge of knowledge between these two units. Currently, this involves CAPE Coaching, ISSS Advising, teaching an international student only section of OUE 2001, and collaborating with Career Services to provide comprehensive career and work authorization workshops for students.
