The University has always made internationalization and commitment to equity and diversity a priority and part of the learning outcomes of the undergraduate education experience. In spite of these goals, surveys have shown that International students’ sense of belonging is declining. In order to begin to address these declining rates, we are aiming to communicate to domestic students using multimedia, in particular prior to arrival as part of Welcome Week preparation, the values of Internationalization by communicating knowledge about the students that make up their classrooms, workplaces, residence halls and extra-curricular activities and the values of building a positive campus climate.
